Bulma looked at Vegeta lying beside her. He was unusually quiet too and she wondered what was going on with him. She touched his shoulder, pushing back a bit. "Vegeta?" she asked in a calm voice, but he kept silent. "Vegeta, what happened?" she insisted, but he only sat on the bed, moving his hands to his face as if in torment.

"None of your business," Vegeta replied with a cocky tone, but it wasn't enough to keep Bulma from asking.

Frowning, she sat on the bed and stared at him. "You're an idiot, you know?" she said. This, at least, caught his attention and was returned with an annoyed glance. "We're mates now, aren't we? What's the problem?"

Vegeta looked at Bulma, angry because she always meddled in their affairs. There was no justification for this intrusion. He opened his mouth, ready to complain about her actions, but Bulma reached out, playing on his lips with a curious and effective touch. She slid her hand, stroking his face, which instilled a sort of magical calm in him-- yet still he was angered by it and looked away, staying silent for a few minutes before deciding to speak once and for all.

"If the gravity machine you build does nothing to help me turn into a Super Saiyan?" The question came out effortlessly, as if it had been locked in his throat for so long and only wanted to leave.

Bulma was surprised with his question. It was as if he had lost all his confidence; she had never seen him like that. "It'll be okay! It's only a matter of time!" she said with a simple smile. "We're in this together, no matter what happens!""

"Bulma olhou para Vegeta deitado ao seu lado, ele estava anormalmente quieto demais, e ela se perguntava o que estava se passando com ele?
Tocou no seu ombro, o fazendo recuar um pouco com seu toque.
_ Vegeta? - perguntou com a voz calma, mas ele continuou em silencio. - Vegeta, o que houve? - insistiu, mas apenas o viu sentar-se na cama e passar a mão no rosto, atormentado.
_ Não é da sua conta. - respondeu, arrogante, mas não foi o suficiente para Bulma desistir de saber o que estava acontecendo. Franzindo a testa, ela sentou-se igualmente na cama e o encarou.
_ Você é um idiota, sabia? - falou ela chamando atenção dele e demonstrando aborrecimento. - Somos companheiros agora, não somos? Qual o problema? Vegeta olhou para Bulma com raiva por ela sempre querer se meter tanto nos seus assuntos, Nada pra ele era justificativa para toda essa intromissão.
Abriu a boca, pronto para responder e reclamar sobre as atitudes dela, mas Bulma o balou tocando em seus lábios, um toque curioso, e ao mesmo tempo eficaz.
Ela deslizou o toque, acariciando seu rosto, o que o fez magicamente ficar calmo, mas irritou-se por isso, e olhou para o lado oposto, ficando em silencio por alguns minutos, antes de decidir falar de uma vez por todas, o que o atormentava.
_ E se a maquina de gravidade que você vai construir não adiantar para me fazer se transformar em Super Saiyajin? - a pergunta acabou saindo naturalmente, como se estivesse trancada na sua garganta por tanto tempo querendo sair.
Bulma se admirou com a pergunta dele. Era como se ele não estivesse confiante o suficiente, nunca o vira daquela forma.
_ Vai dar tudo certo! É só uma questão de tempo! - ela falou com um singelo sorriso. - Estamos juntos nessa, aconteça o que acontecer!"
